Technical Details for Registration and Accessing the Training

Use these steps to Join or RSVP via a computer using an Edge or Chrome internet browser (preferred method):

  1. Copy and paste the URL link into your internet browser (Requires: Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome)
  1. Complete Event Registration
  2. If Joining a session, continue to step 2
  1. Select the option “Continue in this browser” or “Watch on the web instead” depending on your browser
  2. Choose the “Join anonymously” option
  3. Once you have successfully joined the event you will see “The Live Event hasn’t started” if you arrive early or you will see the presenter speaking

Use these steps to join on a smart phone or tablet via the Microsoft Teams application:

Please Note: If you are on a smart phone or tablet, you will have to download the Microsoft Teams application otherwise you may have issues joining

  1. Go to your Google Play or Apple App Store on your smart phone or tablet
  2. Search for Microsoft Teams
  3. Download the application
  4. Now that you have installed Microsoft Teams on your smart phone or tablet, click on the Teams URL link in this email
  5. It will open in the mobile/tablet browser and ask to open within the Microsoft Teams Mobile App. Select Open.
  6. You will see an option to “Join as a guest” or “Sign in and join”.  Select the “Join as a guest” option
  7. After entering your first name, select “Join Meeting”
  8. Once you have successfully joined the event you will see “The Live Event hasn’t started” if you arrive early or you will see the presenter speaking
