Service Overview

This is a telephone application that transfers calls to various extensions, voice mailboxes, or voice recordings without the intervention of a human operator.  Also known as auto-attendant or phone tree.

Service Details

A well-designed call processing app allows callers to quickly navigate to their desired destination while also helping the department/organization reduce repetition and filter out irrelevant calls.  Typical applications consist of a main greeting followed by a simple menu system with an option to speak with a representative. More complex applications may include schedules where calls are routed differently at different times.  For example, calls may be routed to a menu of options during business hours, but routed straight to voice mail during non-business hours and weekends.
