Service Overview

CSULB email accounts are occasionally compromised by malicious actors on the internet when CSULB email account users fall victim to phishing attempts.  When this occurs, a series of actions are put in place to respond to the potential security risks.

Service Details

Actions such as scrambling passwords, temporarily disabling compromised email accounts, and assisting affected users with a subsequent clean-up process is part of the service response.

Suspicious email received in your CSULB email account should be reported to alert@csulb.edu for further analysis.
