In Outlook Online, you will be able to forward messages from a shared account to an individual account.
Instructions
- Log into Outlook online through CSULB Single Sign-On.
- Once you are in Outlook Online, check to make sure the switch for Try the new Outlook is turned off. (shared account accessibilties will only work with the older version)

- To open another mailbox, click on your account initials in the upper right hand corner and click on Open another mailbox...

- Input the email address of the shared account (i.e. alert@csulb.edu)
- Select Open (the shared account wil open in a new tab)

- In the shared account, Click on the Settings Icon in the upper right corner and scroll down to click on Mail.


- In Mail selections, click on Inbox and sweep rules and the "+" icon to create new inbox rules for forwarding.

- To create a new inbox rule, type in a desired name for your inbox under Name.

- On the pulldown "When the message arrives..." select [Apply to all messages]

- On the puldown "Do all the following," select Forward,redirect, or send > Forward the message to...

- A search screen will appear.
- Type the name or email address of the intended recipient
- Select the Search icon (information of the intended recipient will appear)
- Once you have found the intended recipient, click on the "+" icon across the name under "Search Results"

- To add additional recipients, repeat step 10.
- Double check to make sure all names are added into the forwarding list.
- Once finalized, click on Save.

- You will be taken back to the new inbox rule screen
- Select OK in the upper left corner to save.

- To add more recipients in the future or make any further changes, you can click on the Edit icon in the "Inbox and sweep rules" tab.
