Divert on No Answer (*21# and system default) is Active
- If the "Free on Access 2" button (ODN2) is off, and the "Access 1" line is active, internal callers will hear a busy signal, and public callers will ring in on the "Access 2" line.
- If the "Free on Access 2" button (ODN2) is on, and the "Access 1" line is active, internal callers and public callers will ring in on "Access 2."
- If "Access 1" and "Access 2" are active, any other callers will hear a busy signal.
Action during call (Call Divert)
- If call divert button is pressed while the "Access 2" line is ringing, the call will be immediately diverted to your programmed diversion point (usually your voice mail).
Divert on Busy (*22#) is Active
- If the "Free on Access 2" button (ODN2) is off, and the "Access 1" line is active, internal and public callers will be diverted to your programmed diversion point.
- If the "Free on Access 2" button (ODN2) is on, and the "Access 1" line is active, internal and public callers will ring in on "Access 2."
- If "Access 1" and "Access 2" are active, any other callers will be diverted to the programmed diversion point.

When *22# is used, internal callers will always be diverted to programmed answer point, they will never hear a busy signal, and will not be able to use 6 for automatic callback.
Action during call (Call Divert)
- If the "Call Divert" button is pressed while "Access 2" is ringing, the caller will be immediately diverted to your programmed diversion point.
Analog Sets
- If your class of service allows call waiting, you will hear the call waiting tone when a second call rings in, but the call will not automatically divert to the programmed destination point (e.g., voice mail or another line).
- Divert on busy, *22#, can be keyed in advance of getting on a call. If you do this, call waiting will be overridden, and calls which come in while your extension is in use will be diverted immediately.
