Android and Chrome OS Email Setup

Special Note about Various Android Devices:  Due to the various makes and models of Android devices, your screens and terminology may differ from the screen shots below. Employees, please contact your Technical Coordinator if you have any questions. Students, you may contact the Technology Help Desk.

Password Setup (if you are new to campus): If you have not already activated your BeachID password, please do so first (https://beachid.csulb.edu/). Also, be aware that whenever you update your BeachID password, you will have to update your password on your mobile device as well.

Username and Password: Please use your campus email address (@student.csulb.edu for students and @csulb.edu for employees) and BeachID password.

Uninstall Instructions (If Applicable)

If you are attempting to remove an already existing campus email account from your mobile device, please do the following:

  1. Go to your Settings.
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Select the account you wish to remove (for example, Corporate Sync)
  4. Select Remove Account
