If you need to give a colleague access to your Outlook mailbox—including the Inbox, Sent Items, and Deleted Items—you can set up delegate access. Depending on permissions granted, your colleague may also send messages on your behalf.

Always grant permissions at the mailbox level first, then on specific folders like Inbox, Sent Items, etc.

For "Send on Behalf of" permissions, the delegate must have at least Editor access to your Inbox.

New folders created in your mailbox are automatically shared with delegates. You can modify or remove permissions if needed.
