Pop-up windows are necessary to use certain campus web applications and web forms, and the browser(s) you use for these websites may need to be configured to accept pop-ups. Use the following instructions to configure your browser(s) to accept pop-up windows from these CSULB sites.
Newer browsers have built-in pop-up blockers that you may not know you have enabled. Also, if you have installed third-party applications to block pop-ups (such as the Google, MSN, or Yahoo! toolbars), you may need to consult vendor documentation to allow pop-up windows for desired websites.

- From the Tools menu (three lines located on the top right side), click Options. A dialog box displays.

- Within Privacy & Security, go to the section, Permissions.
- Click the Exceptions button in the Block pop-up windows section. The Allowed Sites dialog box displays.

- To enable the browser to recognize CSULB servers as trusted sites, and therefore, allow pop-ups from these sites, add the site's URL in the Address of web site field, and then click Allow.
Note: Rather than typing the site's URL, copy and paste the address into the field. To do so, highlight the web address you'd like to add, right-click and select Copy, and then paste the address in the field.
