Pages

At the top left is the Pages navigation pane where you can select Cost or PriceBreakdown report illustrations.

Cost:  This view (highlighted tin red in the screen shot) is recommended and should display this as a default.

PriceBreakdown:  This view will present your list of department servers and all the individual monthly costs so far.

Dept

If you have access to more than one department set of servers, you can select your departments from the drop-down. In the sample screen shot, the report is set to DoIT.

Projected Yearly Cost

This is an estimated cost for a full 12 months of server hosting.  Since you are likely to be viewing your report at any given point within the fiscal year, this is the closest estimation of what your total annual cost will be considering how much your costs have been for the past completed months plus using the most recent month's figure as the projected cost for future months. This is only an estimation, and cannot include future scenarios such as decommissioning or adding new servers.

Year To Date Cost Multiplied by Months

This reflects what your current year-to-date total cost is at any given point within the current fiscal year.  If all your servers were to be decommissioned at the time you are viewing the report, the Monthly Total shown here would be what your department would owe DoIT for the year's server hosting services.

Monthly Cost

This reflects what the current month's costs are based on current total server specifications (CPUs, Memory, Storage, Used Storage).  Included is a graph displaying a monthly snapshot of current and past monthly costs.  The past monthly costs are considered final costs, while the current month's cost may change if resources change within the month.

Access

Existing known technical and ASM contacts are given access to their department-specific servers.  For new access requests or access removals, please submit a Service - Server Hosting request.
