Wi-Fi for Chromebook

Instructions

  1. Connect your Chromebook to the WiFi network beachnet-guest-access. 
  2. Open Chrome browser and enter example.com into the Address Bar at the top, press enter. Google search bar with example.com
  3. Select the “Student/Staff/Faculty” yellow pill. Welcome to CSULB Wi-fi page
  4. Install the SecureW2 Chrome Extension by clicking “Install”. Install chrome extension page

  6. Click on the first tab in the browser and click “Sign in”. sign-in option for wi-fi service 
  7. Present your CSULB SSO credentials and confirm your MFA or enter the PIN. CSULB Single sign on page enter password for Single Sign OnApprove sign in request for single sign on
  8. Click “Download” to download the securew2.onc file. web page with download option 
  9. Navigate to the newly opened tab “Network” and click on “Import ONC File”.wi-fi network property page  
  10. Choose the file from your Downloads folder and click open. downloads folder 
  11. Click “Connect” to connect to eduroam. asking to join wi-fi network screen 
  12. In the Quick Settings WiFi menu, be sure to “Forget” beachnet-guest-access and beachnet+. settings window for wi-fiwi-fi setting asking to forget network
