Access
Teams is available either by a desktop application installed on your computer, an app installed on your mobile device, or by accessing it within your Office 365 app via Single Sign-On.
Features
- Text chat with individuals or groups within or outside CSULB
- Video and audio calls
- Create a Team for more group-related collaboration
- To manage your Team, such as adding team members see Manage team settings and permissions in Teams
- Note: to help mainain CSULB-wide consistency, please make every effort to name your Teams using this naming convention: DEPARTMENT-Function (i.e., BUS101-Lab2, ITS-THD)
- Note: a Team with no activity for twelve months will enter an automatic expiration policy schedule and is only recoverable up to 30 days after deletion. Advance notification will be sent to the Team owner 30, 15, and 1 day prior to expiration with instructions for how to cancel expiration.
- Share your screen
- Create channels for specific topical discussions
- Collaborate on files and documents of all types
- Create meetings with your automatically integrated Outlook calendar
